The mikveh provides a space for womanhood and vulnerability. Oftentimes, mikveh attendants are witnessing women at their most vulnerable such as after a misscarriage or a pregnancy. However, mikveh attendants have taken upon a new role with identifying medical abnormalities and signs of domestic violence.
