Gabrielle Hodes

Gabrielle is a seasoned kallah teacher with 23 years of experience, originally from London, UK. Gabrielle has lived in Ramat Bet Shemesh, Israel for 20 years, with her husband, Stephen and their four children.

Her journey into the world of teaching Taharat HaMishpacha began in a Marriage Enhancement Program run by London’s United Synagogue, learningto teach secular and ultra-Orthodox kallot. Upon making Aliya, she participated in Tzohar’s Kallah training course which enhanced her skills for teaching dati leumi / modern Orthodox brides. Gabrielle then studied in the The Eden Center’s advanced Kallah Teachers course for broad exposure to in-depth halachic issues and those relating to women’s health, intimacy, OCD, mental health and much more. In constant pursuit of further enhancing her skills and knowledge in the field, Gabrielle trained in Mercaz Yahel to become an intimacy counsellor. She continues  to participate in  courses and stays on top of the most recent research through conferences, lectures and seminars.

Gabrielle blends a fully halachic approach to family purity, with an in-depth knowledge of all the most recent Rabbinic discussions, and an open, welcoming non-judgmental approach to all the kallot she meets.

Lizzie Rubin

Lizzie Rubin is an individual, couples and sex therapist with special training in abuse, postpartum depression, pre-weds and newlyweds.

Lizzie made aliyah more than 40 years ago from Los Angeles, and lives in Har Nof with her husband Dov. She has 6 children, and many grandchildren.

Lizzie has been a kallah teacher for over 25 years, with training from Binyan Shalem and Machon Puah. She has Rabbanim whom she consults with frequently with regard to questions that arise with her kallot.

Lizzie lectures on topics related to sexuality in the religious and haredi community, and has vast experience leading groups. She also directs Eden’s mikveh attendant courses programming in Israel and abroad, and has facilitated the group-work in many locations.
