Our Policies

The Eden Center's registration and cancellation policies:

Courses:

  • Courses are dependent on a minimum number of participants. The Eden Center holds the right to close or reschedule a course/lecture if the minimum number of participants do not register.

  • There may be changes in the order of sessions in the course and in the lecturers who present.

  • If a participant misses a session in a face-to-face course, they are eligible to make up the session in another course. This must be arranged with The Eden Center administration. If you miss a session on zoom, please watch the recording.

  • The ability to switch from one course to another is possible only in agreement with the administration and will include recalculation of the cost of participation.

Payment:

  • A trial class is offered for all courses with more than 10 sessions. If you choose to continue with the course, course payment is required after the trial class.

  • A non-refundable registration fee applies to all courses. This must be paid prior to the beginning of the course in order to reserve your place. All participants must also sign a registration form to confirm their registration.

  • Full payment, or arrangement of a payment plan must be completed by the 4th week of a course in order to continue in the course. Any arrangement of scholarships must also be completed by this time.

  • Should a participant choose not to continue in the course they will be charged in full for the time they were in the course, subject to the cancellation fees outlined below (see Participant Cancellation and Refunds). Any scholarship or discounts will also be null and void.

  • Participants will pay for the full course, even if they miss sessions, except in the case of an illness lasting more than three weeks. In such a case, a doctor’s note must accompany the request for refund, not more than one month past the end of the course.

  • The participant will cover any service fees incurred if a check is returned. 

  • In event of a course cancellation, all discounts and scholarships are null and void.

Courses with Certification:

  • In order to be eligible to receive certification you must attend at least 85% of the classes live and (where relevant) pass a written exam.

  • If you received a scholarship, any scholarship tasks must be completed in order to receive your certification.

Participant Cancellation and Refunds:

  • Lecture Cancellation:

    • Until 48 hours prior to the lecture- receive a full refund

    • Cancellation within 48 hours of the lecture- no refund

  • Course Cancellation:

    • Cancellation up until 7 days (all calendar days) prior to beginning of course- full refund (excluding the non refundable registration fee).

    • Cancellation up until 3 weeks (21 calendar days) after beginning of course- 80% refund

    • Cancellation after three weeks from beginning of course- no refund

  • Every cancellation must be made in writing to the Eden Center and must include date of cancellation, number of classes already attended and reason for cancellation. The date the email is received determines the calculation of cancellation.

  • Your refund will be completed on the day of the cancellation, or at the nearest possible date and no later than 7 business days after cancellation is submitted, in the following way:

    • Paid by credit card - the charge will be reimbursed to your credit card 

    • Paid by PayPal - the charge will be reimbursed to your PayPal account

    • Paid in cash, check or bank transfer - the amount will be returned by bank transfer.

  • Cancellation fee - if, as a result of your cancellation we are charged a service fee, that fee will be charged to you, and reduced from your reimbursement.

Service Contract Cancellations and Refunds:

  • A 10% cancellation fee will be charged for cancellations up to 21 days prior to the start of a program/training.

  • A 25% cancellation fee will be charged for cancellation of the training between 21 days and 10 days prior to the start of a program/training.

  • 50% of the agreed fee will be charged for cancellation between 10 days and 48 hours prior to the first meeting.

  • 100% of the agreed fee will be charged for cancellation less than 48 hours prior to the first session of a program/training.

  • A training can be postponed for a period of six months without extra charge, so long as it is rescheduled 48 hours before it was intended to commence.  However, once training has commenced, the full fee will be charged even if the training is not completed.
